In August, we continued our project “Joint deliberative dialogues with young people and newcomers” (“Gemeinsamer deliberativer Wertedialog mit Jugendlichen und Neuankömmlingen”). The project has been made possible by the Ministry of Education of Brandenburg. In a refugee home we talked with parents and their children (regularly acting as very competent translators) about topics like identity, discrimination, democracy, and gender equality.
We also had a workshop with just children. The very young particularly appreciated the ice cream.
