In August we will start a second round of our workshop series Empowerment through Deliberation and Theater at the Oskar community center in Potsdam Drewitz. This time we would like to bring refugee women together with native women.
Together we want to explore topics such as identity, freedom and equality. We want to enjoy the time spend together and get to know each other better. Various theater pedagogy techniques help to make the topics affectively tangible and to playfully communicate issues, which would otherwise have remained unspoken. Drama promotes the ability to concentrate as well as the sensitization of one’s own body and voice. We want to use this potential.
20 meetings are planned. The first meeting will take place on August 11th, 2021 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Oskar in Potsdam Drewitz.
