Mia von Knobelsdorff

Mia completed a social internship at the Urbanstraße Neighborhood House in 2021, where she organized activities for people with disabilities, led a cooking group and supported various projects for children and young people. From March to July 2023 she led a children’s group in Teltow Stadt, marking the beginning of working with young people in accommodations. Between 2023 and 2025, Mia carried out a range of children’s projects in accommodations in Teltow Stadt, Rangsdorf and Stahnsdorf. Her most recent project spanned a full year and was funded by IKEA. Together with children she explored cooking, gardening and environmental education, combining practical skills with meaningful learning experiences.

In 2025, Mia completed her Bachelor of Arts in English and Special Education at the Humboldt University in Berlin. She is currently pursuing her Master of Education in those subjects. Since January 2026 she has been working as a teacher in special education and English. August 2026 she started her job on our project Digital Language and Administrative Bridge for Refugees in Shelter Facilities.
