Our children’s group in Rangsdorf took a field trip to the local fire department. The 15 children, who had been looking forward to this for weeks, were given an extensive tour by the firemen. Much was also allowed to be touched and tried out. Flashing lights, flags and fire hoses were among the favorites, in addition to the fire engines, of course. The Märkische Allgemeine Zeitung was also present and wrote extensively about the children’s project in its newspaper of February 17. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to reproduce this report here due to copyrights. It was an exciting day for the children, for which we thank the fire department. A trip to a children’s farm will be made soon.
