Antonia Acosta Schultze is a master’s student in International Security Management in Berlin. Her academic focus lies on migration, development cooperation, and international governance. She has gained practical experience with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), AWO International, and the Government of Upper Bavaria.
Her research interests center on global migration governance, the strengthening of democratic institutions, and the dynamics of populist movements in international contexts. She is particularly committed to evidence-based approaches in security and migration policy, as well as to advancing democratic resilience. With an interdisciplinary background in International Relations and Management and academic stays in Amman and Oxford, she bridges practical field experience with analytical research at the intersection of migration, security, and social change.
