We welcome a new fellow at Social Science Works who brings new expertise: Pritha Majumder.
Pritha is currently a student at the University of Haifa where she is pursuing a MA In Holocaust Studies. She holds a BA in Liberal Arts from Tel Aviv University where she majored in Modern Jewish and Israeli Studies with a minor in Psychology. During her undergraduate degree, she also took classes in Digital Communications and Middle Eastern Studies as part of her Liberal Arts education. Her major area of interest is genocide studies and she is currently in the process of finalising her thesis, that deals with genocide discourse and complexities, from a decolonised angle.
Pritha has worked as an intern in research projects, studying the state of Holocaust education in several countries and currently working as an assistant in the project Sites of Tension, headed by the University of Haifa. Pritha has interned briefly in Yad Vashem Holocaust Musuem; Zikaron Ba Salon, an innovative commemoration project and Combat Genocide Association in Tel Aviv.
